This morning we held our Spring work day in Dog Kennel Hill Wood and Open Space. A group of volunteers gathered to litter pick, cut the flower heads off the alexanders (to stop them going to seed and spreading) and trimming the layed hedge near the ramp to Sainsburys. It was a lovely sunny day and we really made a difference. Let’s hope the alexanders are somewhat reduced by this timely action! The cowslips were up and looking beautiful.
Thanks to everyone who came and volunteered their time.
