A group of volunteers met today with the main task of clearing the bindweed off the hedge we laid earlier in the year. The bindweed is choking the hedge and will be preventing new shoots from appearing as it will reduce the light that gets to the hedge. There is so much of it that we haven’t cleared all of it but we concentrated on the main areas. Hopefully it will make a difference. Big thanks to everyone who came and helped.
