We had a successful work day this afternoon and as always there was plenty to do. We collected a lot of rubbish, most of it comes as a result of being next door to Sainsburys. We had our new litter pickers that we recently bought and they proved to be very useful, especially the extra long ones that meant we could reach deep into the hedge. We also cleared the triangular bed by the steps that had become overgrown and was threatening to swamp the perennials we planted there in 2020. We filled two huge council compost bins with green waste. Thanks to everyone who volunteered their time.
