Seventeen people came along to a mammoth session of litter-picking, mulch moving, sweeping, mulching and hedge weeding. Quadron had left us a huge pile of woodchip near the adventure playground and our task was to shift it to where it was needed – mainly near the hedges on the edge of the wood where the Housing team had a thwarted attempt at mowing the hedge down. Hopefully with some weeding and mulching it will become obvious that there’s a hedge there and they will avoid chopping it down!
