The Friends of DKH Wood are pleased to announce their second Bat Walk. Following on from the resounding success of last year’s walk we are delighted that Daniel Greenwood from the London Wildlife Trust will be leading another bat walk on 25th August.
Please meet at the picnic benches in DKH Open Space at 8pm. The walk should last approximately 2 hours and as before, it may cover an area wider than just DKH Open Space.
Feel free to bring a torch and please wear clothes suitable for a walk round the wood.
Last year we found three different types of bat in the area. Let’s see if we can add any more to our list!
If it is raining heavily then this event will not take place (bats aren’t keen on rain).
