A second phase of work began in the park today.
The lights are being replaced for ones that do not require a cherry-picker should the bulb need changing. This work should be finished by the end of the week, weather permitting.
The ecological project will start next week on 28 May and will last 3 weeks, weather permitting. A 20foot (6m) long container and a portaloo will be located within the park for the duration of the project and will be removed at the end. Small sections of the park will need to be closed off with temporary fencing while work is carried out. We expect all entrances and exits to be useable for the duration of the works.
Photos will be added here as the work progresses.
