Due to the terrible weather forecast, we have sadly had to cancel this event.

Our annual bat walk will take place on Saturday 12th October at 6pm. it will be led by the London Bat Group and will include DKH Open Space as well as Green Dale Fields.
It’s a bit later in the year than usual but this means we can hold it a bit earlier and hopefully get more children along. It’s quite magical when you hear and see bats that were otherwise invisible!
The walk will be cancelled if it is raining as bats don’t like getting wet apparently.
Please bring a torch and wear suitable shoes for this muddy time of year. The streetlights are out of action still around the wood so it is quite dark.
